Delivering Tangible Results that Can Be Seen And Heard, Torus Power RM Series Provides Pure, Clean Power to Audiophile and Two-Channel Systems
Toronto, ON, Canada & Dallas, TX—(CEDIA Expo Booth #7024)—October 7, 2015 – Torus Power, maker of uncompromising, clean, isolation transformer-based power components, announced today that it will be once again showcasing its RM Series of audiophile-grade isolation transformers at CEDIA Expo 2015, October 14–17 in booth #7024 at the Kay Bailey Hutchinson Convention Center in Dallas. The RM Series is highly praised by the audiophile community and press, who still rely and hail RM power transformers for pristine power that results in audibly better performance and unadulterated sound.
“Torus Power RM series isolation transformers have long provided unparalleled performance and protection,” says Kevin Main, VP of Marketing for Torus Power. “Moreover, because our RM Series products deliver sound that is audibly improved by isolating the power supply, they frequently are specified as a primary, foundational component in reference-level listening environments such as those found in audiophile and two-channel applications.”
With fully customizable models from 5 Amp to 100 Amp, the RM series features units suitable for many different applications and environments of all sizes and complexity. For instance, RM 5 can be dedicated to front-end components and media servers, RM 10, RM 15 or RM 20 models are ideal for mid-size systems, while larger custom installation models, like the RM 60, rated 60 Amp and 100 Amp provide clean, protected power for the largest custom installed systems. Balanced 240V models are also available, providing additional noise cancellation.
In addition to toroidal power isolation for better performance and protecting against surges and other harmful power events, the RM Series boasts several of Torus Power’s most powerful technologies. Plitron’s NBT noise-filtering technology restores incoming power to its clean original state, delivering an unfettered supply of high-quality sound regardless of power-line conditions. The RM Series also features High Instantaneous Current Capability, providing low source impedance to connected components and devices and enabling high instantaneous current delivery that ensures demanding or dynamic components are never starved for power.
International versions are available for Continental Europe, United Kingdom, Australia, and Japan (meeting both IEC and Neutrik standards), with either 220V or 240V input and output voltage. For added flexibility, installers can opt for 3U and 4U chassis sizes to accommodate various rack, shelf, or wall-mount installations.
Torus Power is a Crestron Integrated Partner and a member of Savant’s Partner in Excellence Program, which enables seamless integration across platforms. Ihiji is also now bringing the Torus Power family of isolation transformers to its Invision remote network management software, giving integrators and installers much more control to power cycle (remote reboot) and control settings on Torus Power products.

About Torus Power
Toroidal Isolation power transformers by Torus Power are the world’s finest clean power source for audio, video, and control systems. Dramatically increasing performance levels of connected AV components from video displays to speakers, Torus Power products utilize Plitron Manufacturing’s patented NBT technologies and medical-grade Toroidal Isolation transformers to eliminate virtually all power-line noise artifacts and protect equipment from potentially damaging AC power line events, while increasing system reliability and extending product life. Establishing clean, isolated, and uninterrupted incoming power from which connected components can draw upon and use, Torus Power products deliver higher levels of instantaneous current which ensures that dynamic components and high performance systems are never compromised, nor starved for power.
Built to rigorous specifications under Plitron Manufacturing’s ISO 9001 quality control system in Toronto, Canada, Torus Power’s toroidal transformers—the heart of the Torus Power product line—utilize similar technologies as those found in leading AV amplifiers as well as in industrial, medical, broadcast, telecommunications, IT, power conditioning, and energy management applications.
